Great Post Ned! I'll have to check it out. A lot of my students who are not realtors or do not have a strong relationship with one are always looking for cheap or even better free databases with accurate information before they contact their realtor. Also as you noted, the use for finding REO's could be huge for the non agent. Any idea how up to date the REO info is, say compared to searching things like Domania, etc?

You are right Doug, but a lot of the online software was started when the market was hot. Homes Database on the other hand is the local MLS providing a consumer version. It is the Realtor based MLS system trying to keep up with the competition.

Even though the real estate market is far from thriving, the market for real estate software seems to be red hot. So much data over too little base.
