I’m sure the investors are waiting in the wings. Its surprising the number of people that are flipping homes here and are actually making money doing it. Just goes to show that there are money making opportunities everywhere.

Yes they are Charles. As I said trafic is up to the blog with searches about tax liens. There are not just money making opportunities “everywhere” but “any time.” I think now proves it.

once i put in a bid..do i have opportunity to see other bids and submit a 2nd round bid? when does the bidding stop (ie..the gavel is put down) and no other bids honored???

    Nico,

The bidding works in batches. The first roughly 1000 properties will end at 9:00. After a few minutes you will be able to see the winners of those properties. The bidding is final for those properties. Then at 10:00 the next 1000 properties will end, this will be a different group of properties.

You can continue to enter or change bids until that particular batch is complete. Last year I got behind and after being up all night I still had bids to enter and continued to enter them all day. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

I spoke to the Baltimore County tax office and this years sale will be do on line like the city’s instead of in the Council Chambers. Anyone at last years sale understands the motivation behind the change. They had little other information on how it would be handled when I last talked to them.

    Wayne,
Thanks for the update. Seems like it is coming up pretty fast for them not to know how it is going to be handled. If I find out more details I will write a new post.
