Willie,
I wrote a post some time ago about getting started and it still applies. Where Do I Start?
1) I suggest getting a general back ground on investing. Learn the different types of investing and the techniques to make them happen.
2) Pick a strategy that fits your resources and personality. This ideally one that works well in the current market.
3) Get a mentor to guide you and keep you out of trouble.
4) Make the effort to make it happen.
Good luck,
Ned
